Payments
Cash or Wayl
Learn it step by step
Setting up payment
- Connect your Wayl storeConnect your Wayl store so clients can pay online. The money goes straight to your store; Jalsa never holds it.
- Choose how clients pay youTurn on one way to be paid or more: on arrival, online through your Wayl store, or by transfer to your account. Clients pick one when they book.
- Ask for a deposit at bookingA deposit is part of the price paid when booking, the rest on arrival. It's paid online into your store, or straight to you if you take deposits yourself.
After a booking
- How do refunds work? When a booking paid online is cancelled, the money goes back from your Wayl store under the terms it was booked on.
- Record a cash paymentWhen a client pays you in cash or by transfer, record it on their booking: the booking reads paid and the money shows in your reports.
- Confirm a transfer arrivedA client who chose to pay by transfer waits for you. Check your account, then confirm the money arrived or that it didn't.
- Return a refund you owe a clientWayl sends most refunds back on its own after a cancellation. One it can't send becomes yours: you return it yourself, then mark it returned.
- What happens to an online booking that isn't paid?An online booking holds its time at once. If the client doesn't pay in time, we ask Wayl one last time, then cancel the booking and free its time.
- The client paid, but it doesn't showA payment shows on a booking only once it's confirmed: Wayl confirms it, you record the cash, or you confirm the transfer. Here is each case and what to do.
